Virtex 600 development board
I was quite lucky and found a single Virtex 600 attached to a special
pin grid. It perfectly fit a SMD prototype board I had lying around for
a big SMD project.
The board will have one Virtex600 FPGA, 4 SRAM's of 512KiByte, arranged
as 256KiWords of 16 bits. and 2 large 40 pin headers for various
connections. One part will be uncommitted for a few microcontrollers
and a configuration memory. The whole will be powered by 12V, 2 large
regulators will deliver 4Ampere's at 3.3V for I/O and 2.5V for core and
I/O.

Still a work in progress, but powering the board does not release smoke
and does not heat anything up.
